Belgaum Institute of Medical Sciences (BIMS) located in Belgaum district of Karnataka, came into being in 2006. The college has been affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and approved by Medical Council of India (MCI), New Delhi. The institute is managed by State Government of Karnataka. BIMS conducts an undergraduate course, that is, MBBS course. BIMS boasts of providing multilateral facilities to its students, which includes modern medical facilities, library, laboratory etc.
